JSI Ledger
JS Investments runs site spend, supplier invoices and a monthly pack for their accountant. We built the ledger they run every month — numbered, dual-approved, and the signed record the accountant works from.
The problem
Everything was on paper. Nothing carried a document number, receipts got separated from the payments they belonged to, and every month-end meant piecing the story back together for the accountant out of whatever had survived.
What we did
An app that installs on any phone, in English and Sinhala. Recording a payment takes under a minute and produces a numbered voucher, approved by the Chairman and a Director, with the receipt photo bound into the same file. Mistakes are voided rather than deleted, so the record always tells the truth.
The result
37 signed vouchers in the first month, sent to the accountant in a single tap — a full Excel ledger plus every voucher PDF. It has run every month since.
